The Iron Vow and The Ashen Standard follow human captain Marek and orc champion Ghorra toward Glassford. Forged orders put them on opposite sides; their missing brother Silas left evidence for them both.

Blood Under Foreign Stars follows rebel Nyra and vampire ruler Sereth as an alien occupation forces an alliance. Emancipation is Nyra’s price—and a promise she will enforce after the siege.

Future crossover ideas · planned story arcs

Glassford: their first duel reveals the paired rings and the false seals. This encounter is illustrated in both current issues.

The Grave Crown: a future siege forces Marek and Ghorra to defend different witnesses while an undead court offers incompatible accounts of Silas’s fate.

The Winter Engine: a later battlefield divides their allies over a machine that could end the war by destroying every surviving witness. Brotherhood becomes a choice made in public, at a cost to both banners.
